Auburn Engagement Photography with Dogs: Emily + Blane + Dogs

Daniel and I are always up for a good road trip, especially when it involves super-cool wedding or engagement photography locations. Our latest trip took us to Auburn and the Auburn University campus for a gorgeous fall engagement photo session with the CUTEST Southern couple, Emily and Blane, and their two precious doggies, Lola and Amber. Now, y’all know we here at DTP are CRAZY dog people, so who better to include in your engagement session that your dogs?! Lola and Amber had their own styling, complete with talks to coordinate their leashes and collars with what Blane an Emily wore, as well as complimentary eye-goo wiping by Daniel Taylor Photography. Sorry, non-dog lovers, I know that’s gross to you!

The Plains was in full autumn splendor, starting with Kiesel Park, where Blane proposed to Emily. From there, we went to scenic Toomer’s Corner and, of course,  Toomer’s Drugs for some lemonade. The staff was incredible, letting us move things around for gorgeous photos and kindly handling all our wacky requests.  We finished on campus, where the leaves and the fall light were just stunning. Blane and Emily were beautifully dressed, looking like they stepped straight out of a Ralph Lauren ad! Thanks, guys, for great homework on coordinating those outfits. Blane, GREAT choice with the Southern Point Co. shirt, and Emily, those Anthropologie boots were to DIE for!
