BridgeStreet Gallery and Loft wedding

We here at Kelli + Daniel Taylor Photography were so excited to photograph Shera and Raimy’s winter BridgeStreet Gallery and Loft wedding in gorgeous downtown Birmingham, Ala. It was such an honor to get the call from Shera’s mom, Cathy. She booked us just a few days after we photographed the summer wedding of Shera’s brother, Levi, and his wife, Megan.

Shera and Raimy wanted an intimate, romantic, city-chic wedding. They chose details that reflected their creative sides, their Jewish faith, love of family and their appreciation of classic design elements. Shera got dressed at the always-gorgeous Grand Bohemian Hotel in Mountain Brook. The Kessler hotel has quickly become one of our new favorite places for pre-wedding getting ready. Some of our favorite highlights of the day were Shera’s old Hollywood glamour-inspired hair and make-up, the historic feel of the BridgeStreet architecture, and the vintage getaway car from Coats Classic Cars. We were also impressed to find out these two love birds were featured in the New York Times engagements, which if you know anything about weddings, is no easy feat.

Thanks to a great team of vendors who helped make the day such a pleasure, including make-up artist Angela King, hair artist Todd CargoDeep South Rabbi Barry Altmark, Dorothy McDaniel’s Flower Market, JAMM Entertainment and Yellow Bicycle Catering.
