We’ve had some super-cool weddings here lately at Daniel Taylor Photography. One of our faves was undoubtedly John and Heather’s destination wedding in New Orleans, referred to us by the always awesome M. Elizabeth Events. Y’all know we love us some Meghan and Ellen! And this wedding is slated to be published on the awesome Glamour and Grace wedding blog a little later this month! So excited to share this! And yes, this is our biggest wedding post to date! UPDATE: Feb. 21, 2012, this Daniel Taylor Photography New Orleans wedding is featured on Glamour & Grace blog!
Family and friends convened from all over the country in a weekend just brimming with love and emotion. Heather and John couldn’t have been more gracious, with every their concern for making their guests comfortable and happy. We just loved their sign-in table with wedding photos from their families, John’s banana pudding groom’s dessert, the elegant white florals and the dreamy vintage getaway car. Meghan Cease of M. Elizabeth Events worked with Heather and John for a great team of vendors for their wonderful I Dos. The venue was the lovely New Orleans City Park/Pavilion of Two Sisters, which also handled the yummy catering. We had so much fun photographing Heather and girls getting ready at the beautiful Terrell House in the Garden District, where this adorable couple also had their first look. Heather’s elegant lace wedding gown was Melissa Sweet from Priscilla of Boston and those little shoes were from Mr. Jimmy Choo. Well-known New Orleans floral designer Meade Wenzel, 504-289-9883, created the dreamy flowers, and New Orleans’ Nlegendary Haydel’s Bakery made the wonderful cake. And the limo was from A1 Worldwide Transportation.
