Alex and Ben were two of the most camera-ready engaged people Daniel Taylor Photography has seen in a while. We knew immediately that their engagement photo session at Birmingham Botanical Gardens was going to be terrific. Alex read our engagement tip sheet from start to finish and gave Ben the highlights. They were dressed beautifully and they even brought an adorable birdhouse they are going to incorporate into their wedding next year at American Village. We love personal touches on our engagement photos!
A big thank you to wedding planner Alene Gamel of I Do! I Do! for sending this fun couple our way.
These med students expressed to us what most of our other couples do: “We can’t POSSIBLY be as relaxed and natural in front of the camera as all those other engaged people on your web site!” It’s all about being comfortable with your photographers, by connecting with wedding professionals who are a natural fit for you. We can see what looks forced or staged or cheesy. Alex despises cheesy and so do we. Judge for yourself, blog readers. We think they look more than at home in front of the lens!
We had found out that on the day Ben proposed, these two visited the Top of the World lookout point in Mountain Brook. We couldn’t resist surprising them by going back for a few more photographs. Check out the butterfly–they were out in full force.
A big thank you to wedding planner Alene Gamel of I Do! I Do! for sending this fun couple our way. We always know with Alene that everything will run on time and everyone will have terrific memories from the wedding day.
