Birmingham Wedding at Carraway-Davie House: Sam & Adam

Daniel Taylor Photography

Just by the many excited facial expressions of beautiful bride Sam, you can tell how much fun this wedding was! Daniel Taylor Photography had a blast working with the gorgeous, loving couple on their big day.

Corretti Catering provided in-house service at the Carraway-Davie House, and the venue also had beautiful in-house floral service. Y’all know by now how much we harp on having super-fresh, gorgeous blooms and Catherine Wayman’s creations never disappoint. Another detail that we really loved was the pipe and drape with specialty lighting at the reception. Essential wedding elements like these can really elevate an already gorgeous venue and translate into some killer wedding photos.

At the couple’s reception, Sam and Adam surprised their guests by performing the final dance from their favorite movie, Dirty Dancing. They even did the lift y’all! So fun!

Thanks for letting us be a part of your special day Sam and Adam! We wish you a lifetime of happiness.

Rosewood Hall in Homewood, Ala.: Top Wedding Venues in Birmingham

Daniel Taylor Photography

Daniel Taylor Photography can’t say enough good things about a terrific wedding venue in Birmingham, Rosewood Hall in downtown Homewood, Ala. They are top notch when it comes to weddings,  y’all! We were super excited when our dear friend and Rosewood Hall’s event director Karrie York called us in to take a few photos for some advertising of her gorgeous reception hall. We were super-stoked when we saw it decorated for a dream peach wedding reception.

The amazing service plus the safe and beautiful location in Homewood are just a few of the reasons we love Rosewood Hall. Karrie will do everything in her power to make sure your wedding is a perfect. A big thanks to Design Productions LLC, who handled the reception’s lighting, Dreamcakes Bakery for the delicious and beautiful cakes, and The Pink Pear for providing romantic, glamorous flowers.

You can also take a closer look at Rosewood Hall and some of our other favorite wedding venues.

Wedding at American Village in Montevallo, AL

Daniel Taylor Photography

The stunning couple, Alex and Ben after they are officially husband and wife. Photo by Daniel Taylor Photography.

Daniel Taylor Photography is beyond excited to share Alex and Ben’s beautiful wedding day at one of our new favorite venues, American Village in Montevallo.

This easy-going duo of doctors were absolutely terrific clients. They were super relaxed about their big day, thanks in large part to wedding planner Alene Gamel of I do, I do. We’re so thankful for her referrals and can attest to the fact that she makes wedding day stress disappear!

We were blown away by the incredible service. For every wedding held there, a team of golf cart drivers is on stand-by to shuttle guests and us photographers around the grounds. It was so great y’all!

Alex and Ben are both nature lovers, so they incorporated the theme into their wedding with lovely bird details on everything from the invitations to the sign-in table to the toasting glasses. The gorgeous, romantic florals that decorated the ground were from the beloved Carol Riley of Lillie’s, and the delicious catering was from our good friends at B&A Warehouse. Guests were treated to delicious cake from Sweet Magnolia, while wedding band Nationwide Coverage kept everyone dancing the night away.

The beautiful bride, Alex, had her hair and makeup done by Jessica Tucker and boy did she look stunning. One of the night’s highlights was when Alex re-enacted the movie poster from Bridesmaids, when the girls were a little worse for wear. It was hilarious! Take a look at the couple’s lighthearted engagement session at Birmingham Botanical Gardens.

Thanks so much for letting us capture your day Ben and Alex! We wish you a lifetime of happiness!
