Kelli + Daniel Taylor Photography had the wonderful chance to photograph Shannon and Peter every step of the way to their wedding. From stunning engagement photo sessions in both Indianapolis and Chicago, a beautiful bridal portrait session at Shannon’s family home and of course the rehearsal dinner and wedding day. No detail was spared in preparation of the wedding day, and their paper suites and personalized details were simply stunning.
We sent Shannon and Peter to Birmingham wedding planner Neillie Butler of Mariee Ami Wedding Planning Studio, and her talented team created all of their suites including save-the-dates, wedding invitations, programs, menu cards, favor boxes, table numbers, escort and place cards, bar napkins and water bottle labels. We wish you could touch them. Mariee Ami papers are always so luxurious and always set the tone for a stellar event.
The couple’s save-the-date card was a tri-fold card which showcased a photo of them engaging in a friendly tug of war tying the knot, because these two are gym owners and fitness devotees. Peter also proposed at their gym, CrossFit NapTown, in Indy. The card included with an adorable piece of rope, appropriately, tied in a knot.
The formal wedding suite included a letterpress invitation, response card, and reception card.
Out of town guests received a lovely picnic basket packed full of Birmingham essentials. The basket included a wedding weekend guide explaining where to be and when, as well as goodies all native to Birmingham.
Each basket included water bottles personalized with Shannon and Peter’s monogram as well as Buffalo Rock ginger ale and Alabama Crimson Tide cups.
Birmingham staples Golden Flake potato chips and Bud’s Best Cookies were also included in each basket.
You certainly can’t mention Birmingham without including The Peanut Depot, and who doesn’t love a snack of Bailey’s Irish Cream and wedding cookies.
Shannon’s bridesmaids each received a lavender tote with a personalized flask, a beautiful handkerchief, garter, a sparkly gold pair of Toms, champagne, and Alabama inspired jewelry.
The most important ladies in Shannon’s life spent the morning of the wedding in style by wearing the personalized button up shirts in the wedding colors.
Shannon’s shirt was bridal white and embroidered with her new last name, the wedding date, and “I Do.”
Shannon and Peter’s wedding program coordinated with the rest of the invitation suite. They even included Jewish wedding traditions for guests not familiar with the religion.
Table numbers, escort cards, drink displays, menu cards, and bar napkins all coordinated. “His” and “hers” drink stirrers for the couple were adorable in their gilded, gold, champagne glasses.
The bride and groom personalized purple, lavender, and yellow M &M’s for their favors. Guests took home the delicious treats in a favor box with one of the couple’s favorite movie quotes affixed to the top.
