Daniel Taylor Photography cannot say enough good things about this laid-back, fun-loving couple. We were overly excited to capture Brett and Bailey’s wedding at The Summit Club. The gorgeous duo wanted natural, relaxed photos that weren’t forced or cheesy. You might remember the lovebirds from their great engagement session at their home with the dogs, then at Nana Funks bar, where they first connected.
We started at the historic Tutwiler Hotel, where the couple got ready. We have to say that this is one of the most beautiful places in Birmingham for weddings, getting ready and wedding honeymoon nights. Bailey and Brett had a stunning sunset wedding ceremony atop The Summit Club in downtown Birmingham. Bailey wore a jaw-dropping gown from The White Room and the elegant flowers were from FlowerJoy in Riverchase. Our dear friend Jessica Lazarus did a gorgeous job with hair styling and Chi Peoples had all the girls gushing over their make-up.
Guests enjoyed delicious cakes from Magnificent Cakes, and coordinator extraordinaire Ginny Au was responsible for keeping the day on track.
Brett and Bailey are pretty awesome dancers, so a highlight of the night was definitely the rockin’ unscripted first dance. You could see where Brett gets it from with the mother-son dance! It was so full of energy! The crowd also went wild when the groom jumped on stage and started jamming with the band a little later in the night.
