Anne-Michelle and James are two of the cutest bankers you’d ever want to meet. We were pumped that they were open to ideas for an outdoorsy engagement photography location in the Birmingham area. We decided on a totally new place for Daniel Taylor Photography, historic Tannehill State Park, for some gorgeous engagement portraits that included Anne-Michelle’s husky, Riley. Riley gave us a scare when he disappeared into the woods during the photos at this cabin. When Riley didn’t return in a few minutes, we all panicked and started a search. A few minutes later, a camper shouted to us. Riley had circled around behind us all somehow, and was patiently waiting at his parents’ SUV.
Anne-Michelle and James were up for anything, and we got some killer photographs. They were so fun and so laid back. Notice how Anne-Michelle and James coordinated their outfits without over-matching. Her boots tie in with his sweater, and her jeans and blue top are a great pop of color with their other neutral color choices and background. Later, Anne-Michelle added two colorful scarves and James threw on a blazer, which is always a photo Do for guys. Of course, Riley’s icy blue peepers are a show-stopper in any photograph!
We cant wait for the wonderful wedding in April at The Sonnet House. Dreamcakes Bakery is also part of the wedding day line-up, which is always a treat for us, as well as the rest of the guests! We know it’s going to be a gorgeous day.
