Anne-Michelle and James had the most wonderful wedding weekend, an absolute joy for Daniel Taylor Photography to document. It all started with a dude-oriented wedding rehearsal dinner at the automotive-inspired Ted’s Garage in Southside. Ted’s is such a cool spot to inject a little testosterone into a wedding without sacrificing style. The classic and sports cars stored there were as big of a hit with the women as it was with the men! And I know you’re wondering, but you CAN’T touch the cars, folks, you can just pose next to them or drool a safe distance away.
Cafe Iz gave everyone classic Southern menu, with fried pork chops, sugar ham, biscuits, fried green tomatoes, mashed potatoes and gravy, creamed corn casserole and lemon pie for dessert. The much-appreciated favors were chocolate race cars and classic brands of bottled sodas like Bubble Up and Dad’s root beer. And there was great acoustic music by Will and Sarah Mason, a super-cool husband-and-wife duo whom we’d gladly recommend for pretty much any occasion.
